Thoughtful interiors for homes with a point of view.
The Studio
Nubuor Designs is an interior design studio based in Boston’s Beacon Hill neighborhood. We design homes that are elevated, deeply personal, and shaped by the way you actually live.
We draw from the property's architecture and the specific way our clients live, layering rich textiles, quality materials, and a deep respect for craft into spaces that feel both refined and well loved. Our aesthetic leans modern and finds its expression differently across historic brownstones, new builds, or coastal second homes. Finding that interpretation, with our clients at the center, is where our best work begins.
Design Approach
We work closely, listen carefully, and design with purpose. Every project is approached as a true partnership, centered on your vision and how you actually want to live. We ask the right questions, challenge where it helps, and bring the same level of attention to a floor plan decision as we do to the last object in the room. The result is a home that feels unmistakably yours, and a process that is tailored to you.
Design Services
From full gut renovations and historic brownstones to furnishings projects and second homes, we offer a comprehensive range of design services tailored to where you are in the process. Whatever the scope, our level of attention is the same.
“We hired Margaret, before we moved in, to fully decorate and design our single-family brownstone in the south end. Her partnership, unique style and attention to every detail has exceeded our expectations. She has made the entire process easy and enjoyable and the end result continues to amaze us. She takes the time to understand your family’s needs and style and provides fantastic options of how to achieve that vision. We would highly recommend Nubuor Design.”
