Meet Margaret Nubuor
Margaret Nubuor grew up in Ghana, where early exposure to rich textiles, handmade craft, and the distinct character of built environments shaped a lifelong sensitivity to how deeply a home reflects the people inside it. After moving to the United States, she pursued architectural studies before building over a decade of high-end residential experience across Boston, Cape Cod, New York, and coastal Maine.
Margaret has a designer's eye and a traveler's instincts. Her work is layered and material-rich, drawn from a deep familiarity with textiles, craft, and color. She thinks as much about how a room feels as how it functions, and the two are never separate in her work. That rigor is what allows her design work to be evocative rather than merely decorative, and it is why her clients often return years after a project is complete.
She works directly with every client on every project, bringing a point of view that is global in its material references, and completely personal in its execution.
She lives in Beacon Hill with her dog Jasper, and can usually be found at an antique market, painting watercolors, or planning her next trip.
