Deco Garden reimagines a historic Beacon Hill brownstone through comprehensive gut renovation and interior design. The vision: preserve architectural heritage while creating spaces that feel fresh, contemporary, and designed for modern family life.

Historic architectural details meet modern furnishings and statement lighting that bring unexpected energy to each room. The material palette creates deliberate tension: crisp white walls and soft gray cabinetry form a gallery-like backdrop for carefully chosen gem tones adding depth and personality. White oak flooring and custom millwork introduce organic warmth, grounding the contemporary elements.

Metalwork mixes polished nickel and brass, creating subtle visual interplay between cool and warm finishes. Modernized foliage wallpapers nod to traditional botanical prints while feeling distinctly current—a perfect metaphor for the home itself.

The parlor level breaks from traditional compartmentalized layouts. Living room, kitchen, and dining spaces flow as one cohesive environment, with the kitchen positioned centrally rather than relegated to one end. This transforms meal preparation from isolated task into social experience, keeping the cook connected to family and guests throughout the home.
